This is such a difficult post to write, …Today is a very sad day for the Barlow Fair-board and the Barlow community, as we are learning of the passing of our beloved Barlow Fair Board Director and Community member Paul Fleming. My heart is broken ,,,Our sincere sympathy to Paul’s Mom and Dad, our hearts are sharing your loss ….If a life is measured by the hearts it has touched and the tears that are wept, then Paul lived a full life. I do not think Paul knew how loved he was by soo many ….I first met Paul 12 years ago when I joined the Barlow Fair-board. Paul was quick to welcome me to the Board and always willing to lend a hand when I needed help, I appreciated his help and supportive words. Over the years I watched as Paul dedicated days/hours volunteering to care for the grounds, buildings and Barlow Fair events….Paul is known in the Cattle Barns, Show Barns, Horse Pulls and always took care of the Fair – campers, and made sure the grounds and buildings were ready for the Fair. You could count on Paul during the agricultural Auction, always there to move equipment and help the auctioneers. Storing the Campers, boats and RV’s … like a challenging jigsaw puzzle he would get everything to fit…That was Paul, someone that you could count on to get it done ….Paul was a part of Barlow Fair, it was his love for the Fair and Community that contributed to the SUCCESS of the Barlow Fair. Paul will be missed, and Barlow Fair has lost a valuable member …. I can not imagine board meetings or the Fair without Paul ….
